HOW TO GROW MUSHROOMS IN PLASTICS

Mushrooms can be grown in any used up plastic across like buckets , polythene bags ,jerrycans etc,

INĀ BUCKETS

Select a bucket to use , wash it to be clean and free from bacteria and fungal diseases .then prepare your compost and let it get ready .

After compost preparation , put you compost into clean bucket and cover .after covering use hot iron to create holes where mushrooms will sprout from, in two weeks time you will be able to see mushroom pinning and then start water to your buckets for good 3 times a day for four days .

After 4 days mushrooms will have been ready to harvest to recipeĀ

      there is wide different compost used in mushroom farming such as cotton husks , dried bean husks ,wheat straws ,coffee husks etc

    1. Avery good morning dear Doreen, yes we do have train sessions at our farm and we also do zoom training as online way of training .
      on farm training ,it requires 150,000/= ugx as a training fee which takes 6 days practical training and online requires 1
      80.000/=ugx and it is done thru one on one zoom video.
